WRITING SAMPLE:
“I feel that we are very much connected, seeing as you are a highly spiritual person. I am a guide for women like you. It is so difficult to live in the 21st century and still be on the path to enlightenment. This becomes especially challenging as young as you are. You see, I am a goddess who has become human to accomplish my goal. But you are a human becoming a goddess. Your people, the Indigo, are quite beautiful as a whole. (Although I do understand you have experienced hardships in your upbringing and I am sorry for your suffering.) We seem to be the yin and yang of spiritual guides…” -Letter to Neequah
REFLECTION:
This bridge really added depth to my character as she began to interact with others. It added elements of my character I wouldn’t have been able to consider just thinking about my avatar as a singular being. When Coco Ca$h wrote a letter to Neequah, she developed emotions and purpose. Through serendipitous letter writing between the characters we found a strong connection which made creating our comics simple because we really knew our story and how our characters felt about each other.
