WRITING SAMPLE:

“There is a new female taking over the internet hip hop scene and she seems to have appeared out of thin air. Coco Ca$h is a high priestess disguised as a rap star in the collective, $ad Gurlz. Their sound is unlike anything heard before. Her rap is a ritual which brings spiritual enlightenment to the people of the internet. She drew inspiration from the deepest depths of the cyber world to create her earthly form, even adopting the name Coco Ca$h through an internet rap name generator. Her goal is to show people the path to higher thinking through experimental audio and performances. Coco is a chameleon. She transforms, she is constantly in flux. Adaptation through dressing gives her a sense of creativity. Coco only associates with otherworldly and bizarre objects and costumes. She has the six arms of a Hindu goddess which she hides and incorporates under large capes and costumes…” -Introduction to Coco Ca$h

REFLECTION:

This bridge was all about taking a character we had created in our head, and turn them into reality. I think this may have been the hardest bridge because it was about getting to know our character. We had to set the stage for the concept we knew we would be working with the entire semester, which felt overwhelming at first. But this also provided the most freedom we had all semester to really create whatever we wanted.
