This project was very interesting. I had worked with photoshop before, however I hadn’t gone deep into some techniques. This really helped me understand how to work with different selection tools, layer masks, layer styles, and other basics that I had not yet nailed. I am proud of my work, and I look forward to use my photoshop skills for other projects.

The story of this work involves my transition from Mexico to New York. On the bottom there are trees and two stippling drawings of me and my sister that I created. I decided to leave them black and white, and not fully opaque in order to give my piece some contrast. Also I wanted to mix black and white with color.
