My goal was to create a photoshop montage that was composed of a series of work that I had created during my first semester in Parsons. The main drawing that I included is a stippling drawing of a snake that I’ve been working on as a side project during the semester. I wanted to show what I’ve learned this semester, by arranging images in a compelling way. As for materials, I used pen, ink, watercolor, pencil, and Adobe Photoshop.
I chose this Mehelya snake particularly because I love its form and composition. After doing some research I found that this type of file snake is beautifully intimidating yet its not venomous. I decided that this snake, would not only add to the composition of my work but provide symbolism. Engaging in a new program seem challenging but in reality that challenge is making me grow.
