Nice recording of process. I like how you used the photographic reference to serve your intention. For example, you edited out the dramatic shadows and kept the background open, which was consistent with your aim for simplicity. There is a spare elegance to your drawing. The stipling technique works perfectly with the whole intent of the drawing.
