fashion image making final

For the fashion image making final, we were to choose a fashion related brand that we felt like needed a slight rebranding and take on the role of a creative director. I chose Jeffrey Campbell, a modern shoe brand that is paving the way  for affordable, funky shoes for the bold woman. To me, they needed a rebranding because their advertisements, Instagram, and websites were not at all cohesive or reflective of the brand per say. I wanted to put an edgier spin on the brand, showing some grime and what would be a natural ‘life’ for a shoe. I made 3 final images, incorporating a redesigned logo. The Jeffrey Campbell font is pretty boring, so I researched a lot of really fun fonts, settling on ‘Plexifont BV’.

My initial vision for this project was very different than how the shoot turned out. I really wanted more of an authentic aesthetic for the shoe shoot, as well as the ability to be able to present a narrative to the viewer, unlike Jeffrey Campbell’s current campaigns and posts.
