While working on the first draft of this project, I already had a very clear idea of what themes I would focus on and what my intentions were. Time and Rebellion were the ideas I wanted to portray, but I had to find how to do so. The sense of childishness linked both as childhood is the time of silly rebellion in life.
In the final version of my video, I added an intro and an ending, both linked to one another. I used Debord’s words in both scenes and emphasised them with a visual metaphor. I also shortened the “physical derive” part. Indeed, the feedback on the first draft was clear and I agreed: it was too long. Nevertheless, I still think I could have improved some on the shots by making them more vibrating or interesting at least.
