Perception – 4th of February

Today I met with my friend Emma from London.

Emma had always been a captivating person. She had ambition, intelligence, knowledge and could argue on the intentions of a painter by analysing his use of a certain tone of blue. It fascinates me everytime she speaks about art. You can feel her passion and understand how devoted she is. For example, when she goes to an exhibition, she will take as many notes as one can and rush home to type and print them neatly so that it finds it place in one of her folders. You may understand that I wasn’t impressed when she said she was disappointed in the other students of her History of Arts class.

What I find the most interesting is that she will never have one opinion on a piece. She will lay out the different interpretations she perceives and let you choose the one you enjoy best. It is amusing to see her love Arts so much, to me she become a piece herself, a sculpture full of knowledge and positive energy with the most precious heart and two big eyes full of wonder.

I believe there are many different perception of a same object, person, event and that the true beauty of art lies in them. The power of animating different emotions in people and reviving memories.
