MOMAs reflection

The photos above stood out to me this first time I entered the art space. What stood out most was that each photo was framed like a portrait. The subjects were all sitting and standing for the photo but the photographer captured each subject as if it was their own portraits.

This piece I think was the most raw and honest. It showed exactly what the photographer wanted the viewers to see. It wasn’t censored or hid any information.

This image was also interesting because I think it was somewhat a decisive moment. It captured this sort of leading line of the subjects. The contrast in the shadow adds to the leading line effect. The information it give is also interesting. The image is almost saying this is a leader and the other subjects are following her.
