Very excited to begin the lab and meet my classmates. We all come from different backgrounds, from the Humanities to Design and Technology. I’m very eager to learn about who the partners are and who within the class I’ll be working with, and even, to see if there will be any parallels between my research outside the lab (I study Public Interactives) and my work within the lab itself. I am impressed by the faculty who will be working with us, particularly Nidhi, whose philosophy resonates with me. He says (to paraphrase) that the class will get the opportunity to work with organizations and companies who will empathize with our (my) frustrations about societal inequality. Who will these orgs or companies be?
