For this project we were asked to bring in an object that was meaningful to us and that has an important background story. We were then given partners and we exchanged stories. We were then instructed to create a diptych to represent the story and the object.

My partner told me the story about her bracelet. Her bracelet was given to her by a friend and it is said to give her good luck. One major point in the story that I decided to focus on for this piece was that one time when she didn’t wear her bracelet she fell down the stairs so now she always wears it.

I used color to create different moods on the two panels using water color.
