A beautiful composition of artworks, both involving painting style canvas (actually collage) and installations amongst the vast space of the gallery. Many techniques were used. One of the techniques that caught my eye was the use of different sizes for the canvases. Some canvases were small, yet placed near to each other. On the other hand, other canvases were large and isolated from the rest. This sense of vast and loneliness was contrasted by the colors used on all pieces. All the colors were bright and vibrant, which allude to an idea of joy and happiness. Did the artist have this in mind while developing the work? Furthermore, looking at this with more concrete visual lenses, these pieces are mostly abstract, leaving the mind to wonder off by itself after being intrigued by such shapes and forms used. This leads me to my next point; shapes are used to generate an abstract form, which then compliments other forms within the piece, allowing a beautiful composition to be made. For some reason, all the lines stood out to me the most. Mainly in the installation, where there are strands hanging, which serve as a background for the rest of the 3d piece. It was a beautiful exhibition that highly focused on the balance between a clean, minimalist feel of the space (the room itself) versus a chaotic jungle of shapes and forms within each piece.
