Assignment: “Take a Seat”

Medium: ply wood

 

This project mainly focused on human ergonomics. We were only allowed to use plywood as our main material for the structure of the chair and a secondary material not to be used in the frame of the chair.

SCHLOSS is a conversation chair intended for a minimalistic living room. Relying on function to guide the path for form the goal was stability and comfort. Regarding aesthetics, SCHLOSS is inspired in geometric shapes, sharps angles and symmetry.
