Banu Bargu’s book, Starve and Immolate: The Politics of Human Weapons (Columbia UP, 2014) was named Outstanding Academic Title for 2015 by CHOICE. The book was previously the recipient of American Political Science Association’s First Book Award given by the Foundations of Political Theory Section.
