Ivan Ramirez, Assistant Professor of Environmental Health, recently presented a community-based project in the Urban Parks and Green Space session at the American Association of Geographers meeting in Boston. The project, funded by TEDC and led by El Puente (http://elpuente.us/), is a community-based participatory action study, which examines air quality in neighborhood parks in Southside, Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
