Robert Sember convenes expert panel on Gender and Mental Health and Addiction Recovery

Robert Sember (Assistant Professor, Interdisciplinary Arts) was invited by the Center for Social Innovation’s Bringing Recovery Support to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategies (BRSS TACS) to develop and facilitate a conversation on how gender difference affect recovery for people with mental health and substance use related concerns. BRSS TACS is a subcontract from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association (SAMHSA) which draws on expert resource meetings to gather information critical to program, planning, and policy activities related to the agency’s Recovery Support Strategic Initiative. Sponsored by SAMHSA, 12 national experts convened on August 15.
