The first chapbook of Lang alum Mallika Singh (BA, Literary Studies/Poetry and BA, Global Studies) was published in December 2020. Retrieval explores the relationships between intimacies, data, and surveillance. This project originated in Literary Studies Faculty Angela Carr’s Advanced Poetry course and was expanded and polished in Singh’s senior capstone with Literary Studies Associate Professor Jennifer Firestone.
