Semantic Artist Book- Finished

Writeup On Semantic Listening Artist Book For this project I decided to make an actual book, bonded by a small metal ring. All of the pages are shaped like ears. The cover is an illustration drawing of a ear with the title, ‘Semantic Listening Artist Book, By Alexandra Feder’ mimicking the way sound waves goes into the ear. In my book I wanted to describe Semantic Listening from smallest to largest details, first describing the word, and then larger and more details as the book goes on, like explaining how the ear works then examples, etc. The first two pages focuses on the actual words, the definition and pronunciation of Semantic Listening, I mimicked the way you see words in a dictionary. The next page describes in depth of how an ear works with an illustration of the inside of the ear. I used different fonts to highlight the words. The next pages are examples of Semantic Listening, ‘Blowing A Whistle’, ‘Playing Piano’, ‘Morse Code’ and ‘Language’ are the titles of the next four pages. Completed with illustration drawings and explanations of each example with different fonts. The last page is the many definitions of Semantic Listening in different fonts, bringing forward and backwards different sentences.
