“But you know what, that’s cool.”
“Because some people think it’s dumb to like do everything.”
This line from the movie is very thought provoking, Mostly because of how simply this deep thought has been conveyed to the audience. Forget about the sweet, feel-good quotes to lift our spirits on our twisted society, this is making fun of society on another level. Not only should you do what you want, you should do it happily, because you’ll be made fun of anyways. This is a common theme throughout the movie ‘Beautiful Losers’. Each artist talks about their art as a means of just being different, and how it has made the past and future, it didn’t need to come off as a negative dark idea, just content of where they are.
