Architecture not only tells the story of the artist, the story of the location, and the story about that materials and shapes but also speaks to each person on a personal level. I think fashion workers see architect as a large project similar to their own. With the buildings many layers and materials it looks like a beautifully, detailed made garment. Fashion workers really relate to buildings as a large personal pieces of work. Deconstruction, the act of taking things apart reminds me of peeling an onion, to understand the insides with greater depths you must explore the insides. Deconstructing a garment teachers you the inner workings of the object, while carefully painting and unraveling the steps that made the object in the first place. To me, architecture talks to me, lets my brain explore the arches, curves and corners of the building. It shows me an artist painting the outside with bricks, concrete and glass instead of paint. I see a building, but imagine the extreme lengths taken to get each brick in piece and each window carefully placed to get enough light into the building. I find architecture extremely complex and intriguing. I can thoroughly imagine laying brick by brick.
