In this assignment, we were instructed to create installation iterations that amplified one of four subjects (Light, Scale, Adjacencies, and Views) on our designated site in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. I chose Views considering our site is visually complexed in terms of the neighboring library, the school, the assessment center, the church, housing, and the view of the Manhattan skyline.
I created elevated viewing platforms by taking a basic rectangle and manipulate different leveled viewports by scoring and creating an overall form that mimics birds’ wings, considering their access to elevated views.
