Alisha Capobianco was born and raised in East Greenwich, RI and is now a designer and mixed media artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Growing up in a very artistic family and being exposed to creativity at the young age, Alisha naturally followed her path to art. This was just the beginning of Alisha’s professional career. As a design assistant for Exquisite Events, RI, to re-designing the interior of a law office, to set dressing for the film “At Home with Mystic,”. She has worked in fields spanning from concept to production and installation. Alisha is always multitasking and exploring new venues, as she continues to grow as an artist and businessperson.
Currently, Alisha attends Parsons the New School for Design, Manhattan in NYC. There she studies Interior Design with emphasis on sustainability, which involves re-purposing existing materials to create new designs. Alisha is eclectic in choice of color and style, which correlate with the fact that she enjoys both a quiet, tranquil beach setting, and a busy exciting life in NYC.
For years, Alisha’s role at Corporate Art Group as an Art Consultant has been very important.She handles clients both local and nationwide. She is the lead historical researcher for hundreds of projects across the country.
