Waiting for Godot

Sense:  The style of writing reminds me of how “Who’s on First” was written. Lines are short and interrupting and very continuous.  There are breaks and pauses, but I read some it where I just didn’t bother to see who was saying what and it all made sense, kind of like listening to my inner dialogue that happens in my mind when I am thinking.  I really can’t think of anything else that made sense since I was trying to make sense of all this during my reading.

Nonsense:  I suppose I never really figured out why they were waiting, but refused to ever go anywhere.  It makes me question the reality of their situation. Who is Godot and why are they waiting for him? What is the importance of this person and their meeting? The two men, as I recall, have no idea who Godot really is or what he looks like.  I am curious to know what I may have missed in reading the dialogue, which was mostly read with a weary mind anyhow.
