Project Fabrication about BANSKY the street artist

After conducting some additional research on world famed street artist BANKSY, I didn’t learn much more that I had already knew about him.  I knew of BANKSY in the late 90’s and early 2000’s through underground graffiti media and magazines.  He wasn’t very popular back then nor was his style of art since it was considered sort of cheating by the graffiti community.  It’s amazing to me however that he has been able to reach such acclaim and remain anonymous and unknown to the public.  For this reason I thought it would be a great idea to sort of unmask the BANKSY that the world knows as a reclusive individual into someone that actually has an organization of artists that helps him complete the agenda of anti-war, anti-capitalist, etc.  Fortunately for me, I already had real archives of my own work from the past that I was able to tie into the BANKSY story with just few fabricated authentic pieces from the artist himself.  All the graffiti images are real and painted by me and my friend.  What’s not real are the letters and the stencils that were supposedly a gift from BANSKY for appreciation of our Enron Campaign and efforts in exposing white collar crime.  The real piece of evidence however is the invitation by an unknown person to attend a meet up in the UK regarding the expansion of witty propaganda tied in with the testimonial of myself to create a realistic story about how this possibly marked a time when the BANKSY campaign was still grassroots and organizing what it has become today.
