This is a group project designed by Yang, and Xiao. The purpose is to combine two persons’ influential stories together to make a artwork.  Yang’s story is about the way to release pressure, once she got stressed out, she would take a shower to refresh her emotion. On the other hand, mine is a childhood story that when I was about 5 years old, I was living with my grandparents. One day, they left me alone at home until late night, and I was scared by the darkness, yet I was too short to switch the light on. Since then, I’ve been afraid of being alone in darkness. According to  the stories, we created the following project.

Shower head (Drill holes)

Using wire to create the structure of shower head.

 

Thread and bulbs are stick together with glue and spray them with white color.

Final piece: Drill holes on the black Plexiglass board and tight the thread on the back of the board to create water draping movement. (The word “scour” was done by laser cutter)
