1.Oblivion(Movie)

The period of time in this movie is 2070. Aliens invaded the earth to take away the energy sources by sucking the ocean.In addition, Many natural disaster are  keep happening because the moon is destroyed. By using nuclear weapon, Human won the war; however they could not live the earth anymore. The main character believes that the civilization totally collapsed and there are no humans left on the planet. Therefore, he and his wife is planning to move  to another planet called ‘Titan’ after they finished their final mission on earth. However, he realized all the facts he believed was all fake.

2.Elysium(Movie)

In the late 21st century,  the earth was diseased, polluted and vastly over populated. All the rich people left the earth and moved to a new place called ‘Elysium’ for their new life. In Elysium, there are machines that can cure any disease. The main character, Max who got contaminated by radioactivity plans to go to the Elysium to cure himself.

3.Wall e(Movie)

 The earth were deteriorating and got polluted by continuous development by human in 21st century. As a result, the humans shoot a space ship to the universe and subsists their life for 800 years. In the background of the picture, those are not the buildings but those are the pile of trash ,the reason why Wall-e is created for  and left on earth for his whole life.

4.Pripyat Ukraine(History)

Pripyat was the ninth nuclear city in the soviet Union on 1970s. However, all the population was evacuated on April 27, 1986 because of the Chernobyl accident. The population was about 49400 before the disaster. After the Chernobyl nuclear plant accident, the city was abandoned. It is known for the ghost city. Nowadays, more and more scientists and tourists visit this place for its uniqueness but still nobody lives here.

5.Divergent (Movie/book)

 The movie Divergent is  fantasy story starts at nearest future.  All the places on earth got destroyed and everyone died but only a city ‘Chicago’ is left. Survivors made their society which is divided to five factions with their personality,  Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), Dauntless (the brave), and Erudite (the intellectual).  People no longer live together with  blood  but live together with same factions and try to maintain their peace, equality and a secure life.

6.World war z (Movie)

The whole concept of this movie is about Zombie which suddenly appeared in present. When a person got bite by a Zombie, he or she turns to a same creature it self after 12 seconds. After this disaster happened, first the metropolitan areas got attacked and gradually spread out to all over the earth. Whole word  got messed up and  turned to irreparable place.

7.Hashima island(History)

Hashima island is Japanese territory commonly called Gunkanjima.  After the coal supplies nearing depletion and when the mine was closed, all of the population left the island for 30 years. There are many abandoned concrete buildings and the island itself is a trace of industrialization of Japan around WW1.

8.Madmax(Movie)

Because of the nuclear hollocaust, the world became a desert waste land. Basically the world separated to bullet farm, gas town and water fountain and people divide their group and live together. Although the dictatorship is going on so badly,  people canot leave those places because there are no else where to survive. A sand storm keep blowing and no plant can take root.
