About

I am Mexican with a Lebanese, Chilean, and Swiss background. I grew up in Mexico City but was always too curious to only take what I was given. At 16 I decided to spend a year of high school abroad in Vancouver, where I became interested in film and volunteered for several student productions of the Vancouver Film School. I pursued this further the following summer by spending two months in an intensive NY Film Academy course in La Femis, Paris. After my high school graduation I travelled across Europe for two months, a time where I discovered the most unbelievable museums and art galleries. Upon my return to Mexico City, I worked as an intern for 3 months in the kurimanzutto art gallery where I got a real sense of contemporary art today. I met the most interesting people, and I got the chance to combine my passions for writing and art through the making of Gabriel Sierra’s exhibition press release, among many other artist texts. Before my arrival in NYC, and my enrollment in Parsons, I spent six months living in Denmark, where I attended and international program with a focus on culture, and global and social issues. I intend to pursue this as well by pursuing a minor in Global Studies, along with  my major in Strategic Design and Business Management.
