For this project, my inspiration is getting from Beijing air pollution. Air pollution has been a very big issue in China, especially in Beijing. As a Chinese, it is hard to not pay attention to this issue, because it is connoting with not only my friends’s health, but my family who live in Beijing. I choose two fabrics to represent China and the smoke in Beijing. I also made the pencil skirt at the front and connected pleats skirt at the back to show a little bit contrast. Additionally, I add a pocket on right side and a invisible zipper on the left side of my skirt.
