A STORY OF MAPS IN NEGATIVE
Inspired by a will to cross emotion and data, this piece aims to be a personal and intimate look into the city of Paris. As a negative atlas in the form of a book, it explores my relationship to the places I don’t go to, dividing the space into a puzzle. It is mainly centred around a color– red (passion, lust, anguish) and a symbol– scissors (indecisiveness, violence, distress). This atlas is about cutting, reshaping, and ultimately– learning to love again.
