This was the first soft structures assignment of the year. I learned what notches were and how to make a pattern for a round surface. Looking back at the pictures, I realize that I made the mistake of not transferring my notch marks to pattern paper and muslin (never again!)

This was an in-class assignment. I learned how to attach appendages to structures by pinning the appendage between the good sides of the fabric and then sewing it. I also learned the basting stitch.
