On September 12th 2015 I visited Madison Square Park to start a project about PsychoGeographic maping. With my group members we observed the surroundings of the park. Upon first entering the park in the southwest corner I found a small stage set up with a concert going on. Many people were dancing and watching the show. It was a very social part of the park to be in. There also was the Shake Shack in this area. This also drew in a more talkative, social section of the crowd. In the north east corner of the park there is a children’s playground were you found a lot of the families playing. Besides that there was not much else. The northwest corner had beautiful landscaping but it was a much more peaceful and quiet area of the park. Everyone sat quiet and separately going about their own business.
