My concept for this third project is being alone.
For my sound piece I have decided to work with the idea of fear. To really build up that idea of being surrounded by people and that it does not feel good. There is a build up moment in the sound to work to a loud ringing that turns into a loud screaming noise. I created the screaming noise by taking a recording of an ambulance’s siren and speeding it up 200% and then putting it in reverse and then cranking it up 30 Dd.
For my video I am not exactly sure what direction I want to take. I am either going to work to the juxtaposition of the fear of the sound and make the video extremely happy and enjoying the time of walking alone or I want to make the video plays with the idea of being watched and followed. Following someone as they walk around. Seeing them through bushes etc. Work towards the horror movie feel that the sound has already achieved.
