This map is composed of layered paper.I chose to put the layers at the bottom of the page to symbolize the depth of where I started. Since coming to Paris I have spent a lot of time thinking about what I left. My family and friends all added layers of depth to my life. Now I am In Paris and I am alone thus the symbolism of the one layer and blank space. The paths that were carved at the bottom is my habit of how many times I think about this in a day. As you move to the bottom right side of the page there is a split path to represent moving forward.
