My design intervention was based off of the week of Laura Funai who drinks tea regularly. When looking at Laura’s week she shows a very busy schedule with constantly going back and forth in the morning between commuting and school work. During her busy mornings Laura drinks her tea normally. While observing Laura’s schedule I notice when drinking her tea she forgets/doesn’t have enough time to throw away the tea bag before her tea gets stale and cold. Therefore, this help me conduct the research studies and thought process of making an invention to help Laura out.
While researching for this invention I crossed similar inventions but not quite what I was thinking. Most tea diffusers have the strainer sitting in the top where you have to go thorough that to cautiously sip on your tea. Many places like teavana sell these for a lot of money not including the loose tea. This was not my intentions. Also,you still have to dump the loose tea. My invention includes a infuser in the bottom part of the mug besides the top. Also, when the push of a button on the bottom you can flip the infuser to cut off the brewing process. While also being able to connect the string to the hand of the mug so you can still use the traditional bagged tea.
