Introduction to Learning My Portfolio

workInProgress

Throughout my fist semester at school, I heard multiple times that I should take pictures and document my progress so I can have some content for my learning portfolio. I don’t usually remember to take progress-pictures, but I tried my best with most of my projects. Mainly, I’ve completely neglected writing anything during the course of my projects. However, I haven’t forgotten!! I’ve documented enough to recall much of my thought process throughout the semester. Also, knowing how it ends does effect the content of my posts; I’m not sure how, but it will soon be apparent.

My courses for the first semester were Drawing+Imaging: Body, Integrated Seminar: Fake, Integrated Studio: Fake, Space+Materiality: Body, Objects As History: Prehistory to Industrialization. Objects as History and Integrated Seminar were based more on reading and writing assignments. Drawing+Imaging had drawing, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator assignments. Space+Materiality’s assignments consisted of building three dimensional objects, the final one being wearable. Finally, Integrated Seminar’s consisted of short film projects.
