Assignment
The final project of Drawing/Imaging: Language was to create an accordion book that iterates a personal story, event, or situation that includes some sort of repetition or flow. Using anything from Illustrator, Photoshop, paints, and any methods that were taught during this semester, create an 8-10 page accordion book with front and back covers.
Project
The story behind my design basically revolves around my physical and mental changes as I learn to grow into a better designer. I used Illustrator to create the idea of shifting from an old school mindset to a new school mindset. The play on words is a contemporary take on my journey to The New School. I also wanted to emphasize the idea of cutting one’s hair as a way of setting oneself free from the past.
