For this project, the sculpture was originally based on this sketch. The character itself doesn’t have any backstory or anything to accompany it, since it was just a sketch.
The first build of this figure was standing, but due to structural issues, the clay began to crack and break in huge pieces, thus I had to rethink the design. The second and final version of the figure is sitting.
Below is the final painted version, I didn’t really plan the color scheme out, but I just wanted it to be bright.
