For this project we were supposed to show a transitional space, but only using one image. At first, it would seem simple to get one image, but doing the project shows otherwise. In order to show transition, one would think you’d have to use more than one image. In one single image, it is possible to show a sense of transition and time.
This is the image I used in order to depict a transitional space. I felt like this was an ideal space because it shows 2 different locations from the viewpoint I stood at. The viewer can see the room below, but also the balcony across which is another open area.
I didn’t do many sketches since my area was very focused and small. I only did it from different views just to see how much I could show in one single image.
