Fjallraven Kanken bag
The Kanken bag was originally designed to improve the most serious aspect of back problems that tend to appear at an ever younger age. The idea of distributing the weight of school books across both shoulders became the inspiration. Kanken bag has spacious main compartment with a large opening, two side pockets and a zipped front pocket. It also included a seat pad(sponge-like) that is stored in a pocket at the back, where you could pace your laptop, which provides stability and comfort.
Inspiration
Out on the streets I saw this squared bag everywhere. With different colors, sizes, and models. I bought on last month because everyone wore it. However, looking at this bag, I began to question myself what is so special about this bag? How has Kanken bag become an iconic school bag? What is the purpose of the way the bag is designed and the materials that is being using? Why does it serve in different sizes and styles? What is the meaning behind the colors Kanken chose and why? I may come up with more questions later as I continue my research, however, these are the questions that came up right off of my head when I first saw Kankan bag.
