This is part of my process in creating the skirt. I appliquéd a pattern onto my printed fabric by layering the black fabric over it, and using the zig zag stitch to sew my pattern. I then hand cut the squares out to get my final fabric.
My final piece. I wanted to add drama to the skirt so I created an asymmetric hemline, along with a double sided ruffle.
