Digital Figure/Ambiguous

Step 1: Figure Drawing & Stool Drawing

Here I learned figure drawing and drawing set-ups. I learned quick sketch on Newsprint, detailed drawing and shading using charcoal & dark shade of pencil.

Step 2: Stool-figure combo

Here I learned how to use school computer lab to scan and make changes in Photoshop.Stool-figure combo

 

Step 3: Shapes/Tracing

This is my first time using Illustrator. I learned how to use Pen Tool, which is very helpful for later projects.

Step 4: Composition

Using shapes drawn from last step, I made a digital figure – a skater.

And by playing with negative shapes, the ambiguous one is like a face of a detective, using the same shapes.

I also learned how to mount pictures (printed on regular paper) to Bristol board, with Adhesive spray. I also used this technique for my Card Game project in Studio 1: Memory class.
