1. Post your final FNBK entry #3 and bring ALL THREE FNBK entries next week printed for presentation and discussion. (including photos, observations, second locations etc.) Reflect on the project: What was it like to observe one location over several weeks? What did you learn in the process? What kind of change did you see? Did the data you recorded become more meaningful over time? Did you enjoy this process?
It’s a cool process, observing the Madison Square Park over several weeks. I think a location like park is a good place to observe because the “nature” components are really strong. I learned to be more observant of the beautiful place around me. The biggest change I saw is the trees and flowers. The sunshine and wind, from the bleak winter to a beautiful summer breeze. The data is more meaning to me because I can feel the weather with those data in mind. I absolutely enjoy the process! Just wish I had more beautiful and expressive words to describe my thoughts.
2. Be prepared to post a draft of BOTH your systems map and repair/resiliency story by the end of class next week. See project brief for details. If you have either draft ready now, please upload them here. Otherwise, they are due by 2:50pm on April 25th.
3. Do you have any other questions, or feedback you would like before next week on the various components of your final project? All components, including documentation, will be due (posted on your LP and ready for in-class presentation) by 12:10pm on May 2nd.
No questions.
