Fear is Always Inside of You
Have you ever thought about to what extent fear controls our emotions and/or actions? Every living organism is scared of something. Whether it’s a fear of larger animals, heights, cars, or anything else; to some extent, fear has power over our decisions. I came across a rap song by the artists NF that made me think about my fears and whether they have actually do have such power over my emotions and actions.
“What, are you scared of me? That’s embarassin‘
If it wasn’t for me, you would’ve never wrote Therapy”

In these words, the “fear” is talking to the artist Nate, and Therapy is the name of the artist’s previous album.
…
“It’s a little bit twisted, but I miss when you and I had scary dreams
I don’t really wanna talk about it!
Well, that’s too bad now, Nate, shut up!”
…
“Yeah, I’m the one that made this happen
Do you really wanna get rid of your main attraction?
…
“You told me that you don’t want me in your life, that’s pretty hard to digest
And I told you I’d leave when we die, and we ain’t died yet”
This song made me think about all the decisions that I’ve made based on a certain fear and, to be honest, if it weren’t for the fear inside me, some decisions wouldn’t have led to a positive result. So, fear does control our decision-making process to some extent; however, it doesn’t necessarily lead to a negative outcome.
