Shapes & Photoshop

In Drawing and Imaging, we’ve moved on from drawing the human figure to drawing shapes and objects. Last week, a few shapes were set up on a table and our task was to draw them without including value and later add value in Photoshop.

This is the charcoal sketch I ended up with at the end of the class.

This is the arrangement of shapes that we based our drawings off of.

In Photoshop, I added value to my simple, linear drawing in these color schemes: grayscale, primaries and secondaries, monochromatic, and patterns/textures. Take a look:
