For my ad subversion I took the classic Tiffany’s ad and reimagined it 4 different ways to bring attention to different couples and types of love. I think Tiffany’s has gotten better at breaking free of the white heteronormative couples theme, but they are still stuck in their traditional values since the company has been around for so long. Recently they released an ad featured two white men getting engaged, however they still have a long way to go in terms of recognizing all relationships and publicizing them in their ads.
