Cinemagraph

movie credit to “the man in the dream”

I choose this moment is because I feel it touches me, it reminds me the moments I spent with my parents when they were feeding me. It brought me back to the memorable scene. I always ignore my mom because I just wanted to watch TV instead of eat. Now as I grow up and live alone,  I starts to appreciate the love, time and energy my parents have offered. This clip is a reminiscent of the family time we have spent together.

I made it in photoshop with the skills I learned in class. I tried the lasso lots of time because there is a glass there, it was very hard to keep the light same when I cut the moving part.  I also copy and pasted the clip and reversed it to make it a complete movement.

The selected reading inspired my Cinema graph is because it taught the purpose to have a infinite moment. To emphasize the importance and the focus point. The reading says that we feel “slow motion” during crisis, but I think we feel “slow motion” during happiness and sweet moments as well because that is the time we treasure and we know time flies.

another cinema graph I edited, but the movement for the lady at right is not very obvious (she is bending back and force along with the shadow) and I do not have to speed it up.
