FLOW @ the Metropolitan Museum of Arts
Flow was created as a piece for a performance series called “Water III”. It was a site-specific movement installation at the fountain of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in June 2008. It was to represent that water is the mirror reflection of the human mind. As I was going into research, I was unable to find anymore information about this piece, but judging by what their website describe the piece, I was able to see that this piece was an act on humanitarianism. It gives me the idea that it’s an act of reflection of what we think everyday life. It tells me that our minds flow like water. It can be endless, spread anywhere, and be vast.
