Natural Dye experiment

On Wednesday, June 20th, we were asked to do an experiment of natural dye. We were supposed to bring natural dye juice, using which we dip wool into it and observe the outcomes. The kits were all prepared; I made an mistake preparing the dye–instead of bringing the tinted water, I brought food…

 

But anyways, we borrowed another group’s purple cabbage juice and carried on the experiment. It was very interesting that the dye changed color when we added the Tartaric Acid (from purple to pink) and the Soda Ash (from pink to blue). I made a chart(as attached below) recording the process and what each every controlled groups of the wool.
