Tied by sadness
This story has to characters: the ‘mean girl’ and the one who undergoes with her ‘malignancy’. The first frame represents the emotion of contempt where the ‘mean girl’ is looking down on her, pointing her finger to her, saying mean things to her. This photo taken from the bottom (where the first view is her long legs) and where the other girl is hiding behind her legs, looking down. Her body language clearly states that she is being a victim of her despise for her. This particular frame is very powerful giving that effect of superiority of the ‘mean girl’. The color red in the shape of the flames also reinforces the idea of contempt, the evil in her. The second frame is the sad girl crying, and in the background the mean girl walking away, lifting her hair up, proud of herself. Sadness is represented with a big blue tied up not in her stomach, going around her, being a part of her. The mean girl looks at herself in the mirror after, and we can see her real feelings reflecting in it with blue lines growing on her: sadness. She is mean because she is miserable. In the next frame these blue lines are fanning down and fading in color (gray). The ‘root’ of these lines represented in a circle is getting bigger: the guilt is growing inside of her. Feeling guilty she goes back to where she left her crying and apologizes by hugging her. The other girl is chocked and surprised by this act of kindness. This surprise is represented with yellow, geometrical lines. The last frame is the persona portrait. The background colors represent their obvious emotions: red for contempt and evil, and green for a mix of sadness, surprise and calmness. The two characters have their hands overlaid one on each other but aren’t really touching (the background image, the mean girls portraits and the sad girls portrait are all three different photos blended together). Their hands are tied by a blue ‘rope’ emphasizing on what they have in common: sadness. They are different but have one very strong point in common.
