My Sensory Map tracks the use of gloves in Union Square.
Overall, my field notes depicted those either wearing gloves, not wearing gloves, or wearing finger-less gloves. I listed age ranges, what the person was doing, and areas in which certain glove-usages where taking place.
Some of my findings:
Around the bench area, people tended not to wear gloves because they were either eating, reading, or on their phones.
Older men would more times than not, not be wearing gloves, whereas older women would always wear gloves.
Almost everyone who was walking their dog hand gloves on, either regular or finger-less.
